If I don't have a domain name / website address - can I still purchase hosting?

Yes, although having a domain name will allow you have a web presence and create email addresses.

Is your service free?

This is one of our main aims. As we reward you for being a loyal customer. The service you receive will eventually pay for itself.

Do I need to refer to earn rewards each month?

No, as we grow and over time you will earn rewards. But if you do manage to refer anyone to our service you will be rewarded much faster.

Can I cancel my plan anytime?

Yes. We provide a monthly rolling solution which can be cancelled anytime.

What happens if I miss a payment?

Your hosting account will unfortunately be suspended (until payment is received). You may also potentially miss out on any rewards owed to you for that month. Please be aware if you miss payment on more than 2 occasions, your account will be deleted.

Can I earn more than my subscription costs each month?

HostBack provides a professional hosting service. However, over time our rewards given to our loyal customers could eventually be greater than the cost of the monthly subscription.

What billing cycles do you offer?

At this moment in time – we only offer (rolling) monthly subscriptions.

There was an error or I was unable to pay for my subscription. What do I do?

Once you provided the information for your subscription, you should have received an email containing your account password. Log into your account where you will be able to complete payment for your subscription.

How do I provide you with my domain name?

When subscribing to a HostBack hosting plan, you can provide us with your domain name on the billing section of the checkout process. Please make sure you enter the domain name correctly.

Can I purchase a domain with Hostback?

Yes. All services we provide are manually processed to ensure that they are set uo correctly. If you would like to register a domain with us you can do so by entering your preferred domain name into the Preferred Domain name field on the billing section of the checkout process.

How do I connect my domain name to my HostBack hosting plan?

Depending on who your registrar is, the steps may be different. But essentially your need to point your domain name to our servers.

Do I need to transfer my domain to you?

We would be more than happy for you to transfer your domain over to us so your whole solution is in one location. However – you can keep your existing domain provider and just change your nameserver settings on the account so your domain sees our hosting server.

Why are we different than other hosting providers?

We care about you. We believe as our business grows – our customers should also be rewarded for their loyalty and support.

Once I purchase hosting - what happens next?

Once you subscribe to one of our hosting plans, we will manually setup your account. We do it manually to ensure all is correct. We then send you details to your registered email address on your account.

What support is included with my hosting plan?

The most important factor for your hosting solution is all your data is safe at all times. We support your hosting platform by creating backups all the time. So, if anything should go wrong we can quickly reinstate a working version of your solution asap.

What support is not included with my hosting plan?

We do not support how to requests. For example, How do I create an email address? or, how do I create a subdomain?

We do not support any external or 3rd party issues. For example, if you install WordPress and problems arise with the WordPress installation, this is not supported.

I have my website with another hosting provider. How can I host with you?

To host your site with us, you or those managing your domain name would simply update the nameservers with the information we provide. If support is required for transfer of files/database please contact us.

Can I upgrade my hosting plan?

Yes. Contact us and we will be happy to upgrade your hosting plan & monthly subscription accordingly.

Is your service secure?

We actively maintain/monitor our hosting environment and apply vital security updates/patches & software version upgrades as they are released. This ensures the highest of standards at all times.

Do you backup my website?

As part of our solution. We take regular backups of your hosting account (Inc website), which can be restored upon request. However – we do highly recommend that you take regular backups of your website to make sure you have the latest version at all times.

Why can't I access my hosting account?

We manually create/setup all hosting accounts to ensure any one of our solutions works correctly, from the outset. We thank you for your patience.

Does your hosting include a control panel?

Yes. We only use the professional cPanel portal providing you complete access to your data at all times.

I tried to purchase a hosting plan, but it says I need to create an account first?

As our hosting service is a subscription based solution, an account is required first. Once you have created your account you can then purchase your preferred hosting solution.

I can't log into my Hostback account?

If you have forgotten your password. You can reset it by visiting Click Lost Your Password. Add your username or Email address to begin the reset process.

Can I upgrade / downgrade my hosting plan?

Yes. You can upgrade / downgrade anytime by contacting us via our support email address: or using our website contact form and we will support you through the process.

How do I cancel my account?
